The GDA Contractors team had a great time attending the ASA Oklahoma Awards Night and celebrating another successful year alongside industry peers and partners. 🎉

We were honored to receive the Most Challenging Project Award for 2025–26 for the LegalShield Plaza Renovations project. Between winter weather, a tight timeline, limited access to the work area, and excavation and backfill work completed entirely by hand, our team faced no shortage of challenges throughout the project. A big congratulations to everyone involved for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to finding solutions every step of the way. 🏗️

We'd also like to recognize Tim Gann for being nominated for OKC Subcontractor Operations Manager of the Year 2025–26. We're proud to see Tim recognized for the leadership and commitment he brings to GDA. 👏

We're shining a spotlight on the Texas Bankers Association project in Austin, TX, home to America's oldest and largest state banking organization. 🌟

Our team provided a wide range of building envelope and protection services on this project, including fluid-applied waterproofing, fluid-applied air barrier, through-wall flashings, traffic coatings, joint sealants, epoxy coatings, and concrete sealer. Together, these systems help protect the building and support its long-term performance. 🏗️

There was no shortage of fun at GDA Contractors’ annual company recognition picnic at Pinstack Bowling Alley. 🎳

With more than 150 employees and family members in attendance, it was a great day of bowling, good food, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs, all while taking time to recognize the hard work and dedication of our team.

The GDA Contractors team had a great time attending the TEXO YCC & EP Beef and Barrel Auction at Marty B’s in Bartonville. 🤠

From great food and cold drinks to live auction bidding and plenty of laughs, it was a fun evening spent connecting with others across the industry. It was a great night to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and support the TEXO Foundation. 🍻

GDA Contractors recently hosted our Waterproofing 101 training seminar in Houston, bringing together industry professionals for a closer look at one of the most important parts of a building’s performance: moisture protection 💧.

The seminar covered waterproofing, air barriers, and sealants, with discussions around the chemistry, standards, and installation practices behind building envelope systems. Attendees also gained insight into common building envelope challenges 📐 and walked away with practical tools and knowledge to help manage the process in the field.

Training like this plays an important role in helping teams stay informed, build confidence, and better understand the systems they work with every day.

The GDA Contractors team has been busy out and about lately, supporting great organizations and spending time with others across the industry. 🚧

Our team attended the McCarthy Building Companies’ Lone Star Scramble Golf Tournament at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington for a fun day on the green, networking and giving back. ⛳ We also participated in the Hoar Construction Sporting Clay Classic in Austin, helping support the Ascension Seton Foundation and the important programs and care they provide for Central Texas families.

Back in Houston, we enjoyed networking with general contractors at the ASA GC Expo and we wrapped up the month at the ASA Houston BLDG Crawfish & Shrimp Boil Happy Hour and Fundraiser, supporting the ASA Scholarship Fund. 🦞

We always appreciate opportunities like these to connect with others in the industry, support meaningful causes, and spend time with great people along the way. We’re already looking forward to the next event!

The GDA Contractors team had a great time hosting customers and employees at the El Paso Chihuahuas game for our recent Client Appreciation event. ⚾

With more than 100 attendees gathered at the Pepsi Party Deck, it was a fun evening filled with networking, conversations, baseball, and time spent with some great people. It’s always nice getting together outside of work and spending time with the people we partner with every day. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a fun night. And to make it even better, the Chihuahuas got the win! 🏆
