Behind every successful man is a strong woman who stands beside him, supports his dreams, and believes in him through every challenge and success.

That couldn’t be more true in my life. From my career in law enforcement to our journey of building a business, my beautiful wife has been by my side every step of the way. Her love, patience, encouragement, and unwavering support mean more than words can express.

This weekend, we had the opportunity to celebrate her birthday while attending the 10-7 Outdoors Gala. It was an incredible evening supporting an amazing organization with a meaningful mission and a cause close to our hearts.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve our community, build something we’re proud of, and most importantly, share this journey with the woman who makes it all worthwhile.

Just found out my clients fence post had tenants. 😂🐝

These are paper wasps, and they build those exposed, umbrella-shaped nests you’ll often find under eaves, fences, sheds, decks, and other protected areas.

Paper wasps are actually beneficial because they help control other insects, but once they build a nest near an area people or pets regularly use, they can become a problem especially when they feel the nest is being threatened.

This colony had gotten a little too comfortable right next to the fence. We took care of that!

If you’re seeing wasps consistently flying in and out of the same area, there’s a good chance a nest is nearby.

Sometimes pest control is about more than just treating bugs.

Last weekend, while we were servicing a home nearby, I noticed Stephanie setting up a special Relay For Life event in honor of her husband and the 10th anniversary of his passing from renal cell carcinoma.

After hearing what the day meant to her, and that one of the volunteers had already been bitten by ants, we were happy to step in and treat the yard at no charge so they could focus on what really mattered.

We’re proud to serve the same communities we live and work in, and moments like this are a reminder that taking care of people will always come first.

August is National Dog Month, so I figured it was a good time to introduce two very important members of the Blue Line Pest Police family — Ally and Chief.

These two love being outside, running the yard, and enjoying the grass, which is exactly why keeping lawns treated for pests matters to me.

Our customer kept hearing birds coming from their chimney and wanted to know what was going on.

Instead of guessing, we sent one of our own birds up to investigate.

(Drone footage approaching the chimney.)

Sure enough… birds had already started building a nest inside the chimney.

Left alone, this can lead to noise, odors, blocked ventilation, and unwanted pests inside the home.

We safely removed the nesting material, installed a professional chimney exclusion, and solved the problem before it became a much bigger issue.
