Today we’re honoring Dolly Parton, whose impact reaches far beyond music.

Through her Imagination Library, Dolly turned a simple belief into something extraordinary: every child should have the opportunity to fall in love with reading. Since its beginning in 1995, the program has gifted hundreds of millions of books to young children, helping build home libraries and opening doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity.

At ACM, we believe strong communities are built by people who invest in the next generation. Dolly showed us that sometimes changing the world can start with something as simple as putting a book in a child’s hands.

A beautiful legacy of generosity, literacy, and love.

Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright, and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.

Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl Thomas Dean (1942 – 2025), her mother Avie Lee Caroline Owens (1923 – 2003), and father, Robert Lee Parton, Sr. (1921 – 2000).

A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family. Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her songs will continue to resonate with people of all ages, and her philanthropic work will have a lasting impact.

At Dolly’s request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family. Dolly’s fans and friends from around the world are encouraged to pay tribute to Dolly on social media by tagging or by leaving a message at www.dollyparton.com

This family wanted a refreshed space to spend time with their grandchildren and ACM delivered! This cozy den has a warm, nostalgic charm. Adding in new modern vinyl plank flooring, some fresh paint -drywall and modern lighting added to the ceiling really changed the space. It feels grounded and inviting, perfect for reading or relaxing and game time with the kiddos.

Here we added in Karndean flooring in Belmont Hickory. Provided and installed by Mid Michigan Floor Covering
Our carpentry team removed and reinstalled the crown molding and provided any new trims to the space that were needed to match the existing custom woodwork.

Sometimes a remodel means a refresh and merge of old and new. In this project we are featuring today, our team did just that. Function and fashion meet in this cohesive design for our client who needed more space and access in the bathroom and a more handicap accessible prep zone in the kitchen.
The main wall between the kitchen and bathroom was pushed back. After enlarging and redesigning the bathroom and moving appliance locations we created a more efficient layout and flow of flooring throughout.

Refreshed with a beautiful light maple cabinetry from Mantra, a Callacata laminate countertop in the kitchen. Sterling Accord walk-in shower package with a mixture of black and stainless fixtures and accessories in both spaces. The flooring is an oak design in luxury vinyl plank by Karndean.

We love how all of the natural light shines through offering a new inviting glow to the space. We are so thrilled for the Patrick's to enjoy their new space, until we meet again for the next phase of the projects in their home!
