Your window is here! September and October is prime time for aeration. Aeration in the fall, sets your lawn up for success next year.

Think of your soil like a sponge - healthy soil absorbs water so grass roots can grow deep and strong. Compacted soil acts more like a brick, struggling to properly absorb. Soil is pretty easily compacted, sometimes by foot traffic, mowers, kids playing, pets, and other times just over time. Aeration opens pathways so your lawn can drink and breathe, both keys to a healthy good looking lawn!

If we’ve serviced your lawn lately you might notice that your crabgrass is turning white. Good news! That’s exactly what we want to see. The latest treatment included crabgrass killer which first turns it white and then you’ll watch it shrivel and die. If some of your other grass is a little white too, no worries. The product tends to bleach but after a mow or two those bleached parts will be cut off and looking good.

Well... we were so busy mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and making yards beautiful that we completely forgot to draw our grill giveaway winner. 😅
