EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP MONTH | EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT ⚡️

This month, we're hearing directly from our employee-owners about what employee ownership means to them.

We asked Logan

What is your favorite part about being an Employee-Owner?

Here’s what he had to say

“Hard work pays off and you get to see it”

— Logan Kirchhoffner, Journeyman

It’s that sense of ownership and pride that continues to move Bergstrom Electric forward. ⚡️👏🏻

EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP MONTH | EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT⚡️

This month, we're hearing directly from our employee-owners about what employee ownership means to them.

We asked Connor

"What does Employee Ownership at Bergstrom Electric mean to you?"

Here’s what Connor had to say

“To me, an ESOP means more than just another benefit from my job. I work hard for my paycheck, but with an ESOP, I’m also building something for myself down the road.”

— Connor Swanson, Apprentice

We’re proud to celebrate the people behind Bergstrom Electric and hear what employee ownership means to them!

⚡️PROUDLY EMPLOYEE-OWNED SINCE 2012⚡️

For more than 60 years, Bergstrom Electric has been growing alongside the communities
we serve.

Established in 1964, Bergstrom Electric, Inc. began with small residential electrical
projects and has grown into the commercial, industrial, and service work we do today.

In 2012, Bergstrom became employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan
(ESOP), giving eligible employees an opportunity to share in the company's economic
success and have an ownership interest in the company they help build every day.

But what does employee ownership actually mean?

This month, we're asking our employees.

Throughout October, we'll be sharing answers from our employee-owners about what being
part of an employee-owned company means to them, what they value about it, and what
they hope to see in Bergstrom's future.
Because the best way to understand employee ownership is to hear it from the people who
live it every day.

Employee-owned since 2012.⚡️

🚜 Bringing History to Life in Rollag, Minnesota!

Over Labor Day weekend, thousands gathered in Rollag for the 2026 Steam Threshers Reunion, continuing a tradition that has brought generations of threshermen and women together every Labor Day weekend since 1954.

We’re proud that Bergstrom Electric’s Service Department had the opportunity to provide the electrical work for the Hometown Heroes Museum at the reunion.

Projects like this are about more than electrical work — they’re about helping preserve history, support our communities, and create something that generations to come can enjoy.

We’re honored to have played a small part in helping build the mission of the Hometown Heroes Museum and bringing this vision to life.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this incredible project possible!
