Want a job? We could use some help for the rest of September. I am still under the weather due to surgery and we have thousands of daylilies to divide. If you would like to come out and work some and learn about propagating and dividing, we would love to have you. All workers will be rewarded with daylily knowledge and take home some plants. Edit: I made it home. I’m not very comfortable, but God is good all the time. I’ll see the doctor in two weeks and she will decide on next steps. Let’s give God the glory for all He has done.

Greetings from Bedz and Blooms! We hope you’re staying cool and hydrated. The heat and humidity have been challenging, so we move indoors during the hottest part of the day. We’re dividing plants and preparing an inventory-reduction list—believe it or not, we have too many plants! We expect to hold our first sale around the third week of September and are working as quickly as we can. However, I’ve been unwell for the past few months and recently learned that I have anemia and a noninvasive form of breast cancer. I will have surgery Thursday morning, with radiation to follow. I would appreciate your prayers.
I’m also working on a new website for Bedz and Blooms. It isn’t quite ready for launch, but I’d like to share it with our followers now. As we divide the daylilies, we’re updating the online inventory; however, not every variety will be available for sale. We’ll post an availability list later in September, when you’ll be able to shop online and pick up your plants. Please do not ask us to reserve specific daylilies. We’re working hard to complete our fall preparations. If you notice any errors on the website, please let me know. Enjoy browsing, take care, and we can’t wait to see you next month!

This is Purple Ninja. It has been a phenomenal plant this year. It had a great bloom at the beginning of the summer and it’s really showing out at the end of the summer.

I hate weeds, Yes I do. I hate weeds, How about you? Just finished weeding again. We are going to take a break due to the heat. I have to have surgery on August 27th and will be taking a rest break. We will crank it back up in September with our daylily divide!

These lovely plants provide blooming power into late fall and look great in any flowerbed. Though plants are not blooming now, they will soon provide nectar and pollen for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. Message for more information.
• Butterfly Gingers: tall tropical-looking plants with white fragrant blooms that look great as background or in the pool or pond area.
• Hidden Gingers: Exotic plants with fragrant blooms that form at the base of the plant with lush foliage. Hidden ginger goes well in your pollinator garden or on your patio.
• Shampoo Gingers: Deep green foliage with unusual bright red flower cones that produce a natural, fragrant liquid that can be used as shampoo or body wash. The rhizomes are edible too.
• Crocosmia: These fiery little plants bring color and pollinators to your garden and are rabbit and deer-resistant. Crocosmia blooms from mid-summer to mid-fall and creates a long-lasting splash of color in your garden.

The weather is hot but the sale is hotter! This will be your last chance to get some of our summer sales-daylilies at a super-low price. All plants are in pots and are growing rapidly.
