Exciting News! The American Institute of Architects of Colorado recommended an MA Studios project to be featured on the hit CBS series America ByDESIGN, a show that showcases outstanding design projects from across the state and beyond. The historic Grand Lake Yacht Club recently was renovated with new decks, a new commercial kitchen, bathrooms and other features. But most importantly, the foundational supports that have been holding up the building for longer than a century were reinforced and rebuilt to hold up the building for another century or longer. The America By Design team visited the Grand Lake Yacht Club September 1 to film MA Studios Principal J. Scott Munn, as well as Mark Bjerken of Chillcoots Construction, to find out more about this remarkable project. The building kept its historic appearance with all new materials and a profound sensitivity to its redesign. No word yet when the film will air, but will post as soon as we find out!

COLORADO 150 - Our love for community (19 years in Granby and counting!) and our state were in the spotlight at this year's Granby downtown parade on the 4th of July. MA Studios's parade float celebrated "Colorado 150," for the centennial state's 150th year. MA Studios ❤ Colorado! If you were there, and you may have missed us, it may be because Santa Claus on the Four-Wheeler was right behind us, and that Santa stole all of the attention 😂

MA Studios enlisted our neighbor across-the-street and friends at New Mountain Design, Granby, to design a new (and long overdue) kitchenette for our newly renovated office space. The kitchenette is now much more functional and a space to be proud of, thanks to Jason, Sara and Emily. And the great installers from Chillcoots Construction made sure the job was completed beautifully. The countertops are a Primordia Ceasarstone, and the single basin undermount is a Blanco Silgranit Kitchen sink in a “truffle” color. The faucet is Kohler, Matte Black, single wheel handle with a pull-down spray.
