Removed a load from the kiln Sunday. I have some new pieces of Mesquite and Pecan that is now ready for sale. It have all been dried down to between 5 and 7% moisture content. Now it’s ready for your next project. If you have a log that you want cut, we can cut it to your specifications. We charge $100 hr. for custom cutting. Please, clean your wood with a power washer or another type of a high-pressure nozzle or we will have to charge a cleaning fee. Our phone number and address should be at the bottom of our photos if you enlarge them. Here are a few more pictures of that big oak that I cut. As I examined it and looked more closely at it, I realized that it was (curly oak) very pretty. About five pieces turned out to be of a good epoxy job with about 10 more turning out to be good desktops, or countertops. Let me know if anyone is interested. It will be a little while before it’s ready. It’s going into the air dry area, and when the moisture goes down some, it will go into the kiln. With the weather, we’re having, the Kiln is working great!!!

Cut some very large post oak yesterday have a few pictures of it. It would be great for a bar top or counter top. It’s all about an 1 1/2” x 9’. I will post more later. This was a tree that was too big to go through my mill. I had to do some shaving on it to get it through one of the biggest I’ve ever cut almost let it sit around too long. Some of it has soft spots, but would still be a great epoxy project. But still yielded some great slabs due to its size.

Did a little cutting this week. Mesquite, and Pecan then I unloaded the kill of some big white oak 10’11”foot long around 20 inches wide on some of them 1 1/2” to 2” thick. They have a little cupping, but that’s why I cut them thick so you can plan it out you’d lose about a quarter of an inch. Here are a few pictures of some that I took out.
