October 17 is Mulligan Day, and even Squatchy gets a do-over now and then.

Gus was happy to hand him another ball, because whether it’s golf swings or fogged glass, everyone deserves a second shot.

October 14 is National Dessert Day, and Gus and Squatchy are celebrating the sweetest way they know how.

Peach cobbler, pie, cupcakes, brownies, and a little friendly debate over who gets the last slice.

Because whether it’s dessert around the table or memories made at home, the sweetest moments are the ones shared with people you care about.

Happy National Dessert Day from Gus and Squatchy!

Chapter 35: The Parker County Tour

Now it was Squatchy's turn.

He took Gus through Parker County.
Country roads.
Open fields.
New neighborhoods.
Old farmhouses.
Places Gus had never seen.

"Pretty nice out here," Gus admitted.
Squatchy smiled.
"I know."

Chapter 34: The Granbury Welcome

When Squatchy came to Granbury, Gus wanted to show him around.
The Square.
The lake.
The neighborhoods.
And, of course, a few of Gus's favorite local stops.

Squatchy looked around.
"I understand why you stayed."

Gus smiled.
"I told you. Granbury has a way of doing that."

Chapter 33: A Familiar Face

While working in Parker County, Gus noticed something.
People were beginning to recognize him.

"Hey! That's Gus!"
He smiled.

Then someone called out:
"And there's GlassSquatch!"

Squatchy looked at Gus.
"You've been telling people about me, haven't you?"

Gus grinned.
"Maybe."
The two were becoming quite a team.

Chapter 32: After the Storm

The next morning was quiet.
Too quiet.

Gus and Squatchy headed out to see what the storm had left behind.
There were branches everywhere.
A few fences were down.
And more than a few windows needed attention.

But the two guardians got to work.
Because the storm may have been over...
but their job wasn't.
