Plenty of butterflies and bees out and about today!

You may have noticed the Nursery looks a little sad and empty right now, but that is all temporary!

We have a lot going on behind the scenes:

🎃Pumpkins have been ordered!🎃

🍁Fall decor is coming in weekly!

🌸Mums and fall plants are getting close to being ready for your flowerbeds & containers!

🌳Tree and shrub restocks will be coming throughout the next few months for fall planting season!

🌺Even pansies have been started!

🍂Lots to be excited about in the near future so hang in there!

WATER! WATER! WATER!

💧Watering should be your biggest priority for the rest of the month!

After a very pleasant spring, summer has hit full force and making sure your plants have adequate water is very important until we see a pattern change. With nighttime lows hanging around the 80 degree mark, a lot of plants do not have time to recover from the daytime temperatures over 100. Combine that with a stout south wind, and things dry out very quickly!

💦 The best time to water is in the morning, but it is absolutely ok to water during the day if you notice stress. Water slowly and deeply.

🏡 If you have planted trees, shrubs, or perennials in the past few growing seasons, they need to be watched very closely! They still have very young root systems.

💦 Grass needs to be watered right now at least 2-3 times a week. A light watering every day is not enough this time of year. It’s better to water longer and deeper.

🌳 If you notice your trees drooping, showing yellowing leaves, or even starting to drop leaves they need more water!
