We started this morning the way we try to start every morning, in prayer, right from our home office before the day gets going.

If today feels heavy or hurried before it's even begun, we wanted to encourage you the same way we encourage each other.

Saturday morning, home office, papers everywhere. This is what running a construction company actually looks like behind the scenes.

As builders, Nate and I spend just as much time at this desk as we do on job sites, estimates, scheduling, phone calls, all of it. Nobody sees this part, but it's just as much a part of building your project as the framing and the finish work.

Pardon our mess, we're building here. Just maybe not with hammers today.

There's a new name we'll be praying over for years to come. Meet Damien Xavier.

Gage and Sarah are doing great, and Nathan and Michelle just picked up a brand new title of their own, Grandma and Grandpa. It'll probably be a few years before Damien's swinging a hammer alongside his dad, but we've got time.

Gage has grown this business and is an owner right alongside us. Now we get to build something even bigger than a house. We get to build a legacy for the next generation of this family, starting with this little guy.

Welcome home, Damien. We already can't wait to show you the ropes.
