Northern Tier Contracting, a growing Commercial Contractor seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to be based out of our Gouverneur, NY location. Mechanics work with our site supervisors to keep our equipment serviced, maintained and operable. They are responsible for diagnosing, servicing and routine maintenance of equipment such as fleet trucks, skid steers, excavators, lifts and large tools both in shop and on site. Requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, track routine maintenance, show up on time, follow all safety regulations, and perform exemplary work with a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills. Must be organized, have reliable transportation and be able to travel to St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Franklin counties.
