It's the small details behind a project that make the difference.

Window installation requires precision in measurements, careful alignment, and proper sealing to ensure each window fits as it should and performs for years to come.

Construction is finishing up inside Philip Matthews Company in the coming weeks, but first we want to highlight the building's striking exterior.

The client wanted a high contrast, eye-catching design to last them many years. Working with our DJ Design Team to choose selections, the process was truly seamless as we brought their vision to life. Black flush panel siding paired with white smooth brick creates a clean, impressive exterior that makes a statement.

The result is a design that stands out while reflecting the collaborative process behind it.

A little rain couldn't stop us from celebrating a milestone with Prairie Camp at their groundbreaking last week.

Adding two new dorms to the camp is exciting, and we can't wait to see Prairie Camp use them to further their mission.

Partnering on this project means creating more space for them to serve students and families in the community for years to come, and we're honored to be a part of it.

Celebrating a milestone by breaking ground at Kropf Recreational Park Trailers.

We're excited to continue our partnership with Kropf on this project and support their growth, adding 61,000 square feet to their existing production building. The new facility will feature dedicated spaces for PDI inspections, final finishing, research and development, and material warehousing.

We’re proud to be part of this expansion and look forward to seeing this project take shape.

31,000 square feet. An embroidery operation that doubled in size. Three major new accounts within the first months of opening.

Martin Marketing had outgrown its previous space to the point that they were turning away new business.

Their new facility wasn’t just about having more room. It gave them the capacity to say yes to opportunities they couldn’t take on before.

Now THAT is what we mean when we talk about building for growth.

We had a great time at Back Forty Sporting Clays and Banquet Hall for our employee appreciation event last week.

A little friendly competition and a fun afternoon spent together. Thanks to everyone who came out and to Back Forty for hosting us!

Take a look inside our progress at ADEC in Bristol.

This is where you can really start to see the construction come together. Exposed framing becomes finished drywall, and the interior spaces are beginning to take shape. As walls are painted and windows installed, these finishing touches are bringing the project closer to completion.

Friday was a memorable night at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair's groundbreaking ceremony for their expansion project. Community is what makes the Elkhart County Fair so special, and we’re excited to build the Forest River & Peter J. Liegl Ag & Community Expo building for the fairgrounds that will bring friends and families together for generations to come.

We’re grateful to be part of what’s ahead!

72 years of DJ Construction.

Looking back at where we started and seeing where we are today, it’s incredible how much has changed. But over the years, who we are and what we stand for has always remained the same.

Honor Christ. Do Great Work. Impact People.

Those words have guided us from the beginning, and they continue to define who we are today.

We'd like to take a moment to recognize 11 of our team members who are taking the next step in their careers through the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) apprenticeship program! It's exciting that 8 of these 11 are also former T3 students, building on the skills and experience they gained through our program.

ABC combines classroom education with on-the-job training across different phases of construction. By graduation, this group will have thousands of hours of experience and a strong collection of industry credentials, including OSHA 10 and their journeyman’s cards.

We're so proud of this team for investing in themselves and their careers.
