Meet the crew: Craig ⚓️📞🗓️

If you’ve ever called TJ’s to book an estimate or get a project on the schedule, chances are you’ve talked to Craig.

As our Office Administrator, Craig helps keep the day-to-day operations moving by scheduling projects, answering customer questions, ordering materials, supporting our crews in the field, and helping with important tasks so everyone can stay focused on delivering great work.

One of Craig’s favorite parts of the job is the people. Over the years, he’s built great friendships with our team while also learning to operate equipment ranging from a mini skid steer to loaders and excavators - something he had never experienced before joining TJ’s.

A few things about Craig! 🌻🪵📸🏈

Favorite hobby: Tending to his nine raised garden beds, where he grows everything from vegetables to annual flowers.

Creative side: Amateur woodworking projects whenever he gets the chance.

Outdoor passion: Wildlife photography.

NFL team: A proud Green Bay Packers fan. GO PACK GO 🧀🧀

The magic in a luxury hardscape is in the details you don’t see. 🛠️✨

Our crew is out here custom-cutting every step cap to completely conceal low-voltage step lighting - zero exposed wires, just seamless illumination. Paired with a multi-level pool deck and a custom Argentinean grill setup, this is officially our biggest project of the year.

We cannot wait for this project to be finished.

A look behind the scenes at one of our current projects 👷‍♂️☀️

It’s easy to see the finished product, but there’s a lot that happens before we ever get there.

In this Reel, one of our apprentices shares a little about the retaining wall installation he’s helping build. At TJ’s Landscaping, we believe in developing our team, sharing knowledge, and giving our people opportunities to grow alongside experienced professionals.

This project also features a beautiful pool being installed by our friends at Aquarian Pools & Spas. We’re excited to partner with their team to help bring this backyard transformation to life.

Pool days in the summer. Snow-free driveways in the winter. Why choose just one?

While looking back through some of our favorite projects, we realized this 2022 Unilock Awards of Excellence Finalist for “Best Use of Elegance” never made it to social media. Better late than never!

Some of the highlights include:

❄️ Heated Richcliff Driveway: An integrated snow-melt system beneath the pavers helps keep the driveway clear all winter long.

🏊 Custom Pool Landscape: We created a landscape that frames the pool and blends seamlessly with the surrounding outdoor living space.

🧱 Premium Hardscape: Beacon Hill pavers with contrasting borders provide a timeless look while creating beautiful, functional spaces for relaxing and entertaining.

💧Custom Water & Fire Features with 🔥 bowls for the perfect finishing touch.

Meet the Crew: Nick 🛻 ☀️

Nick joined us summer of 22’ and leads our maintenance mowing crews, helping keep both residential and commercial properties looking their best throughout the year.

For Nick, great maintenance comes down to teamwork. Everyone has a role to play, and when each person does their part, the finished result speaks for itself

He takes pride in the details - from clean, crisp mowing lines and sharp edges to making sure no debris is left behind when the job is finished.

One of Nick’s favorite parts of the job is simply being outside. His go-to equipment includes his 48-inch walk-behind mower and BR 800 blower, and he enjoys the teamwork that goes into keeping every property looking its best.

Outside of work, Nick is a big-time fish keeper with multiple tanks and a variety of species. He also enjoys watching the Bengals and is currently working toward becoming the best waffle maker in Cincinnati. 🐟🏈🧇

We’re grateful to have Nick leading our maintenance crews and helping keep our customers’ properties looking clean, sharp, and well-maintained throughout the season.
