Another productive day in the field. I installed two new construction entrances for upcoming new homes and now we’re waiting on engineering and soil reports to move forward. One project is expected to be a basement house 🤓 stay tuned.

Proper access. Proper prep. Proper results.

I got me another happy customer text today. Another job I got called in to take a look at the poor drainage that was causing their foundation to heave on their brand new home. I hated to do it, but had to rip out sprinklers and sod to get it corrected and give them a 0.5% slope for drainage around the house and out to the street. The homeowners seemed unsure if I knew what I was doing or not at the time, but I did the job end of July and got this text today.

So, folks make sure when your building these new homes and businesses that your dirt guy knows what he’s doing. If you’re unsure just call me. It can get expensive if you don’t catch it in time.

I did a job a few weeks ago for a fella up in Callisburg who built a new barndo. Unfortunately, whoever built his pad did not cut any sort of drainage around 3 sides of it so water was just holding against foundation. We came in and poured him a sidewalk all the way around and graded out his yard to drain with less than 1% to work with. This is the text I got from him this morning after the first big rain he’s had since i did the work and it all drained perfectly. It’s always a good feeling to get positive feedback and good word of mouth is how I get all my business. So hopefully it’ll lead me to another job down the road. But long story short, if you’re building a new home, make sure your dirt guy knows what he’s doing. Poor drainage can be devastating for a foundation over time. Anyone can go buy a machine and say they know what they are doing. But it takes the years in the seat to have the experience.

Sunday Funday! Trying to get this house pad done before the rain tonight. Sometimes you gotta make it happen on a Sunday.
