Final touches to this 110’ Poplar next to a 150yr old house. We had some careful rigging to do in close proximity. The DBH of 44” required a large crane. Two blocks barely fit onto our 7’ wide trailer.
I had to carry Stihl’s second largest chainsaw with a 36” bar to get this monstrosity down. It was a struggle that was well worth it.

Don’t know the tree service who removed the tree, but they decided to leave the most challenging part out: the stump.
This was tricky, but we got it gone so the homeowners could spray for termites.

This was a fun one! In under 4 hours we got the tree down safely, all wood removed, and got the stump ground. 💪🏼
In place of this rotting tree now is a cute strawberry patch, hand planted by the home owner - a much sweeter sight.
