Things are moving along nicely ! We just received our first delivery of Schuco windows! Triple pain , tilt and turns with a gorgeous 10’ lift and slide .

Using all Zip sheathing with 6” of Rockwool wrapped around the entire exterior !

Planning to set trusses this Thursday and start installing the windows later next week !

The actual Redwood ceilings are amazing !

We finished off the attic above there tucked under garage so that we could add an air source heat pump air handler , more storage and a bit more space for the main bath

The Lorenz remodel is an honor to be working on ! This is an 1970’s modern contemporary home.

We start looking at the vaulted ceiling design to see if we could help with energy efficiency and ventilation.

We added several motorized skylights that our clients can not only close the blinds remotely but also open them to naturally let the warm stacked air in the vaulted ceiling out .

The bronze standing seam roof looks great and we used a smart barrier peel and stick “ adhero 3000” and R vent . Thieve will ensure v***r transfer and ventilation u der the steel roof .

Another area that we believe gets missed in the building process is air quality .

We have made some significant investments in equipment to help us provide a better overall project.

There is literally hundreds of gallons of water being pumped into our projects that people don’t think about. From the concrete floors , drywall and painting just to name a few . Mitigating that moisture reduces calls backs and the chance of mold.

Air scrubbers during remodels both large and small to help with the air quality.

And air source heat pumps so that we don’t need to run the furnace / air handler during our builds ensuring that the new duct work and motors don’t get all that duct in them !

The floor is poured and the tent came down !

It for sure was a different experience trying to pull this off but with a great team it all came together .

We will start framing this high energy efficient home sometime in March and it will be another amazing project to show you all ! Stay tuned

With all of our builds we emphasize the devil is in the details !

Stego 15mil poly is one of the best products on the market to go under your concrete floor. Radon protection and to control moisture .

We take extra care around all of the underground protrusions like these plumbing pipes .

We also have the Stego wrapping out the bottom and up the side of the form boards to eventually be sealed to the exterior wall design to ensure we do t get excessive moisture into the concrete floor and then entering the home

Huge shoutout to Majestic events !!! We simply ran out of the warm weather for the Hoffman concrete slab .

They were able to set up a 30x90 tent with two LP heaters allowing us to string up lights to keep this project moving forward

We’ve fallen a bit behind this fall in our postings . We are extremely excited to be starting the Hoffman project .

We have the opportunity to work with some amazing products like “Glavel” ! Amazing product that’s recycled glass and once compacted it can be load bearing and is insulation all in one !

This is allowing us in this rocky soil to have shallow footings in Minnesota . No deep frost footings .
