So today is Addy's Buddy Walk with the DSAG-Baton Rouge group. Addy is the A in C&A Woodcraft and in support of our baby girl, we wanted to make something meaningful and symbolic for the whole group. These coasters were what we came up with and there's not a project out there that I'm more proud of!

These coasters were designed with intention behind every strip.

The three primary sections represent Trisomy 21—the presence of an extra 21st chromosome. Instead of blending in, the center stripe stands proud, symbolizing the uniqueness and strength that comes with that extra piece.

The surrounding woods provide contrast and balance, reflecting the support, community, and individuality that make every story different. The thin accent lines highlight that even the smallest details matter—they’re what bring the whole piece together.

Simple, natural materials—each one different, each one important—just like the people this design represents.
