Attention:

Today, September 29th at 9:00am, we will be moving a home from Hwy 73 (Behind Mike Anderson’s in Prairieville) towards Airline Hwy, then head southbound towards Gonzales.

We anticipate minor interruptions of traffic heading towards Gonzales for approximately 1-2 hours. We will have a police es**rt and multiple intersections will be blocked off as we approach and pass.

We ask that you do your best to plan your commute this morning accordingly. We do not anticipate long delays or interruptions.

Our destination will take us to Airline at Cornerview (near Picou Builders, Ross and Marshalls), then turn right onto Cornerview and go across the railroad tracks. Final destination will put us at the corner of Irma Blvd and Cornerview, across the street from Gonzales City Hall.

Thank you all to the State Troopers, utility personnel, DOTD, Mike Anderson’s, Ronnie Braud, and all the hard working crew of Schexnaydre Restoration & Construction. Special thanks to the administration and police department at the City of Gonzales who helped coordinate everything for this move.

Tomorrow morning, 9/29/2026, we will be moving a house from Hwy 73, at Airline in Prairieville, (Mike Anderson's - Gonzales & Prairieville) south bound on Hwy 61. We plan on turning at Cornerview and heading towards Irma Blvd.

The move should start at 9:00am. Traffic will be affected by Police Escorts. We hope passing along this information will help you plan your commute, so you will be as unaffected as possible.

Our team successfully completed a relocation project today off Hwy 44 in Gonzales. We appreciate the understanding of our local community and extend special gratitude to the LA State Trooper and Braud Trucking.

Jambalaya fundraiser this week! Come see us this Thursday, 02/26, as we Raise Up! For Rodney. All proceeds go directly to Mr. Rodney Durham and his family.

This home is nearing completion, and we are now ready to begin painting. The elevation and foundation work have been completed, the front stairs are solid concrete, and the metal handrails at the front entrance have been installed. All carpentry tasks have been finished, and upon completion of this weekend's work, all dirt work and landscaping will be finalized. We feel extremely fortunate to have worked with a local homeowner who successfully secured a grant after patiently waiting for several years. As a result, this homeowner will no longer have to worry about flooding, and we are truly grateful. We extend our gratitude to the skilled workers who contributed to this project and to the individuals who will call this house their home.

Here is a beautiful home in Prairieville that is nearing completion, elevated on a solid foundation, with impressive carpentry, custom features, and a well-designed side porch.

Although its size may not be immediately apparent, this residence boasts six bedrooms, with multiple additions made over the years. We had the opportunity to lift this home for a deserving family. Currently, we are working on the foundation, and skilled carpenters have commenced construction on an ADA wheelchair ramp. We are certainly starting the year on a positive note.
