Brooks Contractor & Compost

09/10/2026

This program goes back to 1999, and it has lead by example for other municipalities across the country that want to divert food waste from landfills. The compost produced from this program is used all across North Carolina and especially in the Triangle. We're on Team Compost- are you?

The calendar says March, but the weather says May! If you're planning a new garden or farm plot, or just doing some landscaping around the house, our compost and landscape soils will help feed and build your soil for years to come. Visit one of our retail locations this weekend to get a head start on your projects, or give us a call for those big jobs where you need a larger truck load. This quad axle dump truck can haul 30 cubic yards of 100% compost or 25 cubic yards of our topsoil blends.

If you're looking for a great deal on a load of compost, we've donated a 25cy load of BR-1 compost and a pickup truck load of either BR-1 or BR-4 sandy loam landscape soil. And if you love our hat's, we'll have one at auction too! There will also be a bouncy house there for the kiddos, so please pray the rain stays away during the event! We would appreciate your support of our community!

🔥 Chili Cook-Off for a Cause! 🔥

Join us this Saturday at the Goldston Fire Department for a Firefighter Chili Cook-Off supporting our local Boy Scouts!

There will be a Silent Auction with great items to bid on also.

This is a fun way to support our youth, enjoy good food, and spend time with your community.

Bring your family, invite your friends, and help us make this a great event!

All proceeds benefit our local Boy Scouts.

We hope to see you there!
