Congratulations to the 2026 Photo Contest Winners! 🎉

Congratulations to John Longfellow, winner of KPUD’s 2026 Photo Contest! Featured on the cover of the October Ruralite issue John’s winning photograph was captured during KPUD’s annual safety demonstration at the Klickitat County Fair.

This year’s honorable mentions go to Paul and Beckey Vincent for their photo of deer grazing peacefully in a field with Mount Adams rising in the background, and Ryan Stumpf for his photo of a well-hidden owl blending seamlessly into its surroundings.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared a favorite view or moment from around Klickitat County. Your photographs give us a chance to see our communities through your eyes and celebrate the beauty, character, and sense of place that make our county so special.

We appreciate you sharing your perspectives and helping us showcase the place we’re proud to call home!
