September Among the Trees
September is going to be a special month on the farm.
When we moved onto these 20 acres, we dreamed about more than growing lavender, raising animals and building a regenerative farm. With Among the Trees Botanical Lavender Farm and our other business, McLaughlin Events, we have this really special opportunity to create a place where people can gather, too.
A place to learn. Create. Connect. Ask questions. Meet someone new. Slow down for an evening. And experience a little bit of what we're building here Among the Trees.
This September, that part of the dream is really starting to come to life.
September 20 | 3–5 PM — One Year Among the Trees - Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
It has officially been ONE YEAR since we began turning these beautiful 20 acres into our regenerative, off-grid farm — and we want you to come see how we're doing things differently.
Wander the farm. Meet the llamas, mini goats, fluffy chickens, and farm dogs. See our lavender, gardens, hand painted murals, and greenhouses. Learn about the off-grid and regenerative systems we're experimenting with, how we're working with the land rather than against it, and hear about what has worked — and what absolutely has not — during our first year.
This is a celebration of how far Among the Trees has come, everything we're building through McLaughlin Events, and the people who have supported these crazy dreams along the way.

September 24 | 6 PM — Fall Dried Flower Wreath Making Workshop in the Meadow Greenhouse
Come spend an early fall evening creating among the trees.
We'll be making beautiful 12-inch fall wreaths using dried flowers, lavender and seasonal botanical accents inside our Meadow Greenhouse with views into the surrounding oak forest.
Your ticket includes your wreath and materials, snacks, lavender lemonade and a mini farm tour.
Come make something beautiful, spend an evening on the farm and take a little piece of Among the Trees home with you.

September 29 | 6 PM — Goldendale Women in Business
Our two businesses get to come together again as McLaughlin Events hosts our next Goldendale Women in Business gathering right here on the farm.
Whether you own a business, work for a local business, have a new idea you've been dreaming about, or simply want to connect with other women doing interesting things in our community — you're invited.
This isn't about stuffy networking. It's about meeting each other, sharing ideas, making genuine connections and creating the kind of community where we actually support one another.
