McBride Lighting and Electrical Services is a leader in the Colorado region and has been providing excellent service for over 60 years. We are seeking a self-motivated, customer oriented professional with prior lighting maintenance experience. Candidate must have their own tools, a valid Colorado drivers license and reliable transportation. Job requirements; must have the ability to perform lightning service repairs (troubleshooting), installation of lamps, ballasts and basic lighting controls, as well as experience in lighting fixture retrofits. Training in all the various types of lighting installations will be provided by our experienced Project Manager. Additionally, experience operating bucket trucks and various types of aerial lifts is a must. Some infrequent travel may be required.

We have several large projects on the books for 2022 and some are paying Davis-Bacon wages.

Journeyman Service Electrician

McBride Lighting and Electrical Services has been in business since 1956 and has deep roots in the Colorado community. We are looking for Journeyman Electrician with experience in electrical service work as well as small to mid-sized projects. We are a family owned electrical contractor and we care about our employees. You will not be a number here, you will be part of a family atmosphere that encourages personal growth and success. The ideal candidate would will live in the Denver metro area and be well versed in the following, at a minimum:
• Installation of various electrical systems
• Great troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Strong knowledge/understanding of N.E.C.
• Able to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to lead
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Clean MVR

McBride Lighting offers competitive hourly pay as well as health insurance benefits, vacation and holiday pay, sick time, retirement plan, paid industry related schooling, company vehicle, cell phone, tablet and company uniforms (at no cost to the employee).

We have several projects on the books for 2022 with a few paying Davis-Bacon wages.

Shout Out to our Vice President Jared Blackney who represented McBride as we were chosen out of many talented companies by Retrolux to share our story during Covid-19.

For people that do not know, Retrolux is a team of talented individuals passionate about sustainability who are determined to change the world we work and play in. They are a prestigious company in the lighting world, and we are honored to have had the chance to share our story with them.
When Covid-19 started impacting work for our company, as well as many others, our owner Dena Blackney and V.P Jared Blackney wanted to make sure all our employees had one less thing to worry about. Before the PPP loans were being offered, when we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to sustain, Dena and Jared made it a point to keep all employee’s on staff and continue our normal payroll cycle even when we didn’t have work.
