A homeowner told me something recently that has really stuck with me.

Before calling us, she had already met with two other roofing companies. Both appointments felt almost identical.

The salespeople spent very little time inspecting her roof before shifting the conversation toward filing an insurance claim and replacing it.

She had questions.

They had a sales process.

After I finished my inspection and took the time to explain what I found, she said:

“Thank you for treating me like a person instead of a sale.”

That meant a lot.

The roofing industry has changed significantly over the last several years. Many local companies have been purchased by larger investment groups, and homeowners may never realize anything has changed because the company name, trucks, website, and branding often stay the same.
