The Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal system is a non-invasive, flexible, and environmentally sensitive means of wastewater disposal. The system provides equal distribution across hundreds of application points throughout the disposal field. Installation of the drip dispersal tubing can be on a sand bed or plowed/trenched into existing soil conditions with the construction method selected specific to the
conditions on the site. The minimum amount of cover material required over the tubing can be as low as 6”, resulting in eliminating or significantly reducing mounds. Primary, secondary or tertiary quality wastewater can be handled, depending on the needs of each site and permitting agency. Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal Systems are assembled in the United States and factory tested before being shipped. Oakson is the sole New England distributor, providing design, installation, and operational assistance since 2005. Regardless of the size of the project or the strength of the effluent, Each Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System contains a number of innovative and patented components. These include a hydraulic unit, a timer-dose control panel, a multi-stage effluent pump and unique mounting mechanism, and Netafim Dripperline irrigation tubing which has been specially modified to work with Perc-Rite®. The hydraulic unit provides final filtration, utilizes a flow meter to check flow rates and to capture total flow volumes, and uses zone valves to send the wastewater to one or more designated disposal areas. The timer-based control panel uses the entire day to send small amounts of wastewater to the drip dispersal field. The application of small doses of effluent into the soil throughout the 24 hour cycle is key to effective treatment, disposal, and management of the effluent. The Netafim Dripperline uses pressure compensating emitters to regulate the flow at each application point. These emitters work under a wide range of pressure so that sloping sites, zones near and far from the pump, and irregular shaped fields all receive the exact same application rate at each orifice. Benefits of a Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System include:
- Engineered to dispose of primary, secondary, or more highly treated wastewater.
- Pre-engineered for single family home and other small flow settings of up to about 2,000 gallons per day. Full engineering support provided for larger flows.
- Low finished height allows for blending into landscapes, better than traditional on-site wastewater systems.
- Tubing Works around trees and other landscape features.
- Technician provided at all installations.
- Not limited to flat sizes or rectangular shaped fields
- Easy design process and simple installations.
