Most pool remodels start the same way — removing the old plaster. But how that plaster is removed makes a huge difference in protecting the shell of your pool.

At Reen Pools, we use 40,000 PSI hydro blasting, one of the safest and most precise methods available. Instead of beating the pool with jackhammers, hydro blasting uses high-pressure water to remove the old plaster while preserving the structural integrity of the gunite shell.

Traditional chipping:
• Uses pneumatic jackhammers
• Creates heavy vibration in the shell
• Can cause micro-fractures or weaken the bond beam
• Rougher surface that often requires more repair

Hydro blasting:
• Uses ultra-high pressure water

We’re stripping this pool the right way — ultra-high-pressure hydro blasting to remove the old pebble finish while protecting the integrity of the gunite shell.
