Multiple Positions to be filled:
COMMERCIAL JOURNEYMAN
SERVICE TECHNICIAN - 5 years experience

Must have knowledge of all types of electrical installation for construction and or residential, conducts, maintains, tests, repairs, oversees all electric/electronic installation of all types of equipment, mechanical services based on client needs both residential and commercial. Electricians apply their knowledge of electrical/electronic codes and title 24 compliance, understanding all types of lighting controls with mechanical of equipment to operation of set up and program.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITYS
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment including but not limited to recessed can lighting, service upgrades, single and three phase electrical power, new ground-up construction, remodels, complete rewiring, pool lights and pumps, timers & motors, spas, interior & exterior lighting, phone & cable, must have good troubleshooting skills having to come up with good solutions.
Must be able to run and tie off wire correctly in newly constructed and remodeled homes according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
Must be able to understand and read electrical drawing with the knowledge of electrical installation and materials layout.
Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company and safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements.
Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
Performs other duties as required as a self-motivating individual.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years as an electrician and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency of installation in these areas of construction or residential project.
Must have some certification from accredited trade school.
Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel.
Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath benches and in close quarters performing work
Must be highly safety conscious.
Must be licensed to drive a motor vehicle.
Must have all the hand tools for electrician to perform electrical work.
Must have the ability to use electrical testing meters for all types of electrical testing.
Must have some knowledge of heavy equipment use.
Must be able to review plans and specifications for maintenance and new construction project including all types of remodeling project.
Must keep daily logs of activities and presents them weekly summary of work progress.
Must be able to do a material take off in ordering materials and supplies.

Residential Service Coordinator

The responsibility of the Residential Service Coordinator is to assist the field manager in all aspects of the Residential/Property Management department of LMS ELECTRIC.

We are looking for a true team player who will take ownership of their tasks and step up/in when needed to make sure not only the residential department, but the entire business is succeeding. If you think tasks could be run more efficiently? - Great, let's hear it! See room for improvement? Even better - Let's chat! You need not apply if "That's not my job" is something that comes to mind when asked to do a task.


The Residential Service Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling and dispatching of all Residential Techs and their helpers/apprentice.
• Coordinating with the Field Manager on scheduling the techs and sending a schedule report daily.
• Pulling permits – may include reimbursable usage of personal vehicle
• Coordinating inspections
• Working with the Warehouse Manager/Field Manager on ordering material and stocking the warehouse for what is needed for jobs.
• Entering data into Foundation to get an accurate job costing of each project.
• Oversee field tech paperwork completion and organization for each job on a daily basis.
• Making sure all Residential/Property Management department techs have what they need for the field.
• Coordinating truck maintenance and giving all receipts to the Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator.
• Maintaining LMS' web page or coordinating with the graphic designer on maintaining and updating it monthly.
• Managing and updating LMS' Yelp page weekly.
• Managing and updating LMS' page weekly.
• Managing and maintaining all advertisements for LMS.
• Managing and scheduling all Home Advisor calls in a prompt and timely manner.
• Maintaining customer files with all project related information - permit, estimate, materials, daily reports etc.
• Processing all invoicing for the Residential/Property Management Department.
• A/R Aging follow up weekly & payment collecting
• Typing up Residential estimates.
• Working with the Field Manager to maintain an organized work environment both in the office & the field.
• Safety Program
• Working with other office staff and managers when needed or requested.
• Assisting other office staff and managers when needed or requested.

LMS Electric is seeking a residential electricians apprentice/helper to begin work immediately. This position will report to our office daily, located in Montrose, CA.
SUMMARY:

The electrician’s apprentice works very closely with the electrician and must be able to follow complex directions easily from their instructors. They should also be able to communicate clearly any problems they come across during their daily work assignments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
• Installing electrical equipment, including ceiling fans, receptacles, switches and lighting fixtures.
• Must be able to run and tie off wire correctly in newly constructed and remodeled homes according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
• The apprentice works closely with the electrician to learn and refine skills relating to design, installation, repair, etc.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel
2. Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath benches and in close quarters performing work
3. Must be highly safety conscious
This position has frequent lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs, bending, hearing, reaching, seeing, speaking, standing and walking with occasional keyboarding and 100 lbs lifting or carrying.
