Summer's End.

I am so excited to serve the Glen Ridge and Montclair community.

I am excited to announce that my daughter has joined the team and will be assisting me during jobs.

I am adjusting my rate a bit. After working with her for just a short time I realize that when we work together we get done jobs faster and your home is returned back to you sooner.

Aside from streamlining the work flow by setting up and helping clean she is quite a good painter and is learning more everyday.

Reach out via text messages to get on our schedule.

Look at this rescue! This countertop has been broken for a few years and the family had it held together with Gorilla Tape. We had discussed the job and I came up with the idea of using a very popular epoxy. It's not a perfect repair, but it looks a hell of a lot better than before.

The first two pics are a before and after. Then I'll show some of the steps.

I'm a local handyman with 25 years experience in the construction industry. My business is out of Glen Ridge and I typically serve Montclair, Glen Ridge, and Bloomfield. Although I do also serve the wider Essex County area.

If your Honey-Do list keeps growing, feel free to reach out and I'll take care of all the jobs on the list. Aside from basic repairs I am also available for painting, TV Mounting, and minor electrical jobs.

Make 2026 be the year your home becomes safer and more beautiful.

Older homes don’t always play by modern rules 🔧

This week’s challenge:

Original front door with an extra-thick profile

New handle set ordered (including the extra-wide kit)

Spindle still too short to reach the interior k**b

After checking with manufacturers, the “right” solution meant buying a much more expensive handle set. Instead, we talked through options and found a safe, effective way to modify the existing hardware and make it work—no unnecessary replacement.

That’s problem-solving you only get with hands-on experience, especially in older Essex County homes.

If your house is throwing you a curveball, let’s figure it out together.

Update to services:

First off I just checked and I have 450+ followers!! Let's see if we can get up to 500.

I find that many times customers only want to discuss options for getting a task done themselves, therefore, I am considering developing an app where customers could set appointments and also where they could come for text consultations. This consultation service would have a small per use fee. I'd love to hear feedback on this idea.

As always, I offer all sorts of small jobs including Painting, some electrical and plumbing, minor random repairs, furniture assembly, and so much more.

Please reach out today to book your next appointment. And share this post to your friends or in a group to increase the amount of followers!

Thank you.
