20-Year Silicone Roofing System Completed in Paris, TN
This EPDM roof restoration system was completed using manufacturer-recommended specifications to provide long-term waterproofing, durability, and energy efficiency.
Scope of Work Completed:
• Thoroughly pressure washed the roof surface to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants, ensuring proper adhesion.
• Applied a blue primer/bleed blocker to prepare the existing EPDM surface for the silicone coating system.
• Reinforced all horizontal seams by applying silicone and embedding a fabric mesh into the coating system for additional strength and long-term durability. A second layer of silicone was then applied over the fabric to fully encapsulate and seal the seams.
• Any additional seams, penetrations, or damaged areas discovered during the project were repaired using industrial-grade silicone patching materials.
• Applied a full silicone roof coating system across the entire roof surface, creating a seamless, watertight membrane while increasing reflectivity and improving energy efficiency by reducing heat absorption.
• Silicone coating was installed at a rate of 2.7 gallons per roofing square (13.5’ × 13.5’), in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
This system provides a durable, seamless, and long-lasting roof restoration solution designed to extend the life of the existing roof.
