John Hoffman | Laborer/Truck Supervisor

John has been a valued part of the Blue Crystal Pools team for the past 3–4 years, working as a Laborer and Truck Supervisor. With a background in industrial maintenance and experience reading electrical blueprints and schematics, John brings valuable knowledge and hands-on experience to the team.

But there’s more to John than his work! When he’s not on the job, he enjoys spending time with his kiddos and making the most of the time he has with them. ❤️

One of John’s biggest motivations in life is his family. He’s always wanted to excel and push himself to be better, with the goal of giving his kids opportunities and a better way of life than what he was given.

Amber Lynch | Office Manager

Amber has been working behind the scenes with the business since 2023, helping keep things running smoothly and making sure all the moving pieces come together. While you may not always see her, her hard work plays an important role in everything we do.

But there’s more to Amber than her work! She loves to write and enjoys finding creative ways to express herself.

When she’s not working, Amber is a proud and involved Mom of three biological daughters and two bonus children. She’s proud to be their biggest cheerleader and loves being there to support and encourage them every step of the way. ❤️

And there’s one adventure still on her bucket list: skydiving! 🪂 while Amber has a fear of falling, she’s always made it a goal to overcome her fears at least once – and skydiving would definitely check that box!

🖤 BLACK ALGAE ISN’T YOUR AVERAGE POOL ALGAE — AND REGULAR ALGAECIDE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH! 🖤

If you’re noticing stubborn black or dark blue-green spots on the walls, floor, steps, or other surfaces of your pool, you may be dealing with black algae. This type of algae can be especially difficult to eliminate because it develops a protective outer layer that helps shield it from normal sanitizer levels.

That’s where Regal Black Algaecide comes in! 💧

What is Regal Black Algaecide?
Regal Black Algaecide is a specialty swimming pool algaecide formulated specifically to help control black algae. Unlike a routine maintenance algaecide, it is designed for those stubborn black algae outbreaks that require a more targeted treatment.

What does it do? 🤔
When used as directed as part of a complete black-algae treatment, it helps attack and control existing black algae and prevent it from continuing to spread throughout the pool.

Why is a specialty treatment needed?
Black algae is notoriously stubborn. Simply shocking the pool or adding your normal weekly algaecide may not completely eliminate it. Jonathan Vance | Lead Technician & Owner

Jonathan has been part of the business for most of his life. He started working alongside the previous owner, David Brown when he was just 12 years old. After years of learning the business, Jonathan became the owner in March 2023.

But there’s more to Jonathan than his work. Those who know him would describe him as a big kid at heart with a soft spot for others. He genuinely gets joy from seeing the people around him happy and loves being able to make others smile.

When he’s not working, Jonathan enjoys fishing 🎣, spending quality time with his family, and simply relaxing with people he loves.

And there’s one thing still on his bucket list: learning how to fly an airplane! ✈️
