In celebration with Robert Merrill, DVM, we are announcing that Sherwood Family Pet Clinic is complete and open for business!
Due to a long standing working relationship, Dr. Merrill asked Architectural Werks, Inc. to design this building, his second clinic. This clinic is a new, ground up building of 6,764 sf designed to facilitate their varied range of veterinary services such as dental care and emergency/urgent care for dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets.
Thanks go out to our consultants for helping us put together an amazing building:

Creating a welcoming atmosphere for future and current residents, the LRS design team renovated the common spaces of The The Ardea Apartments high-rise building in Portland’s SW waterfront neighborhood. The project included modernizing the lobby, club room and deck, and corridors.
The design theme was developed to reflect the building’s location near a river in an urban setting, including a color palette inspired by the beautiful Blue Heron. A variety of custom features include a floor-to ceiling light fixture in the lobby and a custom suspended partition/planter in the clubroom. The partition can be moved to open the space up for large gatherings and contains air plants, bringing biophilia into the clubroom.

Another amazing community partner, BnK Construction, Inc., completed their annual blanket drive for us. Pictured here at their annual employee picnic is our own staffer there to collect the donations. THANK YOU for the generous contribution to our work. We will get these warm, cozy blankets into the hands of people who need them ASAP.
Fun in the sun! Started with a 5K and finished our day at the Voicebox singing. Weekend spent with some of the people I love.
