seed saving begins now 🫶 these zinnia seeds i have been working on for going on 3 years are my precious gems and i’m delighted to see the many different forms they have developed into. excited to continue to grow stock of these seeds and seeing the new varieties that will come up next year.

so thankful for this little plant surviving! i didn’t think any of the transplants a friend gave me made it until I saw this one little tiny cutie pie blooming 🥰 she’s tiny but she’s mighty for sure! now i hope she has lots and lots of babies hehe.

Working on saving only the pastel zinnia seeds this year, so we shall see what comes up from last years’ seed stash 😍 I love them more than Dahlias! There I said it 😆

i have the best garden helpers! we were able to divide and plant all the transplanted daffodil bulbs in no special order. hope they all flower next spring.

my body is going to be major hurting tomorrow 😅 but I was able to pull up 1/4 of each of the daffodil beds so I can transplant before the grounds are tilled for our major refresh. it’s crazy how much they multiplied over the years. I gave lots to friends and I feel good sharing these beauties 🥰

The excitement is real when you realize your eucalyptus came back after the crazy winter we had 😍 the most exciting garden update so far haha.

this is a weird year in the garden. it’s bare and since we’re going for something new and different the majority of the garden is waiting for a good day to till once school is out. one last till to level out the soil before I transplant the perennials into just 2 side border beds. sounds crazy to start over, but it’s going to be so enjoyable to see how it develops over time. I had just a few tulips come up so i’m enjoying them for myself. the daffodils just finished blooming. the peonies started shooting up and the weeds are catching up. I need some rain tomorrow to help me pull weeds a bit easier. I potted a bunch of perennials for the other side but they’re not liking this heat 😆 everything’s a mess & there’s not enough time right now. I doubt I will have a flush of bunches until late summer/early fall, so for those waiting patiently for flowers, 2027 will be a better year. I can fee it 🥰 anyway, just a little update from the garden. Hope everyone is enjoying Spring!
