According to the City of Phoenix website, 400 million gallons of water are used in the City every day. Industry studies have stated that at least 60% of water use is outdoors; irrigating turf, trees, and plants. It is not a stretch that 30% of the outdoor water use in Phoenix is wasted. Thirty percent of 240 million is 72 million gallons. Even with a 10% savings (24 million gallons or 73 acre-feet), this would irrigate 24 golf courses each day. This is where we come in.
