Here we are again! Cold weather has arrived in SC. Be sure to disconnect your water hoses from your outside spickets. Allow your cold water to drip overnight. Hot water as well if you have a tankless water heater. Keep cabinet doors open under each sink. If you can turn off any outside water prior to any spicket do so but also open the other end and leave it that way. Feel free to share and stay warm! 🥶

🥶🥶🥶 Last time was just for a minute but here it comes! This time the cold weather is staying for a while in South Carolina. To avoid any water issues please disconnect water hoses from outside spigots, leave cold water dripping overnight in two different areas as well as cabinet doors under sinks open, if possible. If you have a tankless water heater be sure to leave your hot water dripping to keep that system from freezing. Stay warm and Happy New Year!

SC friends and family it's getting cold tonight. Leave cabinet doors open under sinks, leave water dripping in the sink (hot too if you have a tankless water heater or water heaters that are in an unheated space), remove water hoses from outside water spigots. If you have empty rental homes or vacation homes please think of them as well! Keep those pipes safe! Stay warm!

Thankfully we haven't gotten the calls supporting our plumbing business for frozen and/or busted pipes. I'm still going to pass along some advice. With temperatures being so low overnight treat your pipes with care...open cabinet doors under sinks, unhook hoses from outdoor spigets and leave your water dripping in the sinks overnight (hot & cold if you have a tankless water heater.
Stay warm, stay safe. 🥶 Feel free to share and help friends and family.

So we know it's gotten cold in South Carolina but the temperatures are predicted to dip down into single didgits soon 🌡🥶. Leave cabinet doors open under sinks, leave water dripping in the sink (hot water too if you have a tankless water heater or water heaters that are in an unheated space), remove water hoses from outside water spigots. If you have empty rental homes or vacation homes please think of them as well! Stay warm and keep those pipes safe! Feel free to share on your timeline so others are reminded.❄☃️
