Come by and CONGRATULATE BWW GILBERT! THEY WERE AWARDED THE TOP 50 SEMI-FINALIST AWARD TODAY! I'm so proud of and excited for them as they truly EARNED this award with their steadfast FOCUS, COMMITMENT, AND EX*****ON.
Wish them LUCK as they strive to make the TOP 10 again. Last year they WON 1st Place Bartender and Original Cocktail. Judging takes place in August and so now we step it up a notch and seriously study our specs.and steps of service. Our Casa Grande Store ALSO Won the Top 50 Award, so both stores will be competing for the Top 10 Positions this year. Come by, as they'd love to share their excitement and feel your support as they advance to the Finals.
And, one other HUGE AWARD... Shanna our GM of 19 Years... won #1 GM in the US for the Second Phase of this Competition and has WON a Red Bull Experience in Nashville, TN!! Woo Hoo... Shanna! Very well deserved - unbelievable commitment to her team (and after 19 years... that's incredible!!)

Ground Rule Doppelbock is officially back on tap! This hardy beer is our yearly Lenten release per the rumored story that back in the 1600’s, a group of German Monks brewed up a batch and sent it to the Pope. They asked for his blessing to continue drinking this brew through their Lenten fast, which he gave. Story hasn’t it that the beer went bad on its journey to the Pope during its long journey under the warm Tuscan sun, unbeknownst to the Pope who then felt drinking this brew was penance in itself. However the beer reached the Pope, his blessing was good enough for the group of Monks and the tradition began. Come join us at Desert Monks Brewing in Gilbert Town Square for a pint or 2 and some to-go - no Lenten sacrifices required
