The best projects don’t end when construction does.

We stopped back by this finished backyard with a personalized gift featuring a few things the homeowner loves most about the space—pickleball, outdoor cooking, and time spent with family and friends.

We want our clients to remember Western Skies Landscaping as fondly as we remember the people and projects we’ve had the opportunity to work with.

And this relationship isn’t over yet. The homeowner loved the backyard so much that we’re already designing the front yard.

We attribute that trust to two things: the quality of the work we leave behind and the relationships we build along the way.

A backyard shouldn’t just look good. It should work for the way your family actually lives.

This space brings everyone together without needing a massive footprint: basketball and pickleball for the kids, an in-ground trampoline in the corner, and an outdoor kitchen for everyone else.

Every part has a purpose, and the entire backyard can be used every day.

Wait for it… 😂

This backyard was designed to be used.

Pickleball and basketball court, built-in BBQ, turf, lighting, an in-ground trampoline, and plenty of space to bring everyone together.

We stopped back by after wrapping up the project and, naturally, someone had to make sure everything worked.

Finishing the backyard doesn’t have to mean the relationship ends.

We stopped back by one of our finished projects in Mesa with a little something for the homeowner — and got to hear more about how she plans to enjoy the space now that it’s finished.

She gave the backyard a 10/10. We’ll take it.

At the end of the day, we want our clients to know we care about two things: the work we leave behind, and the people we built it for.

Vince has seen a lot of shade structures go up.

This might be the coolest one yet.

Massive footprint, clean lines, and a rain curtain that’s going to completely change the feel of this space once it’s finished.

Still under construction — but you can already see where this one is headed.

The finished backyard may look level, but the property isn’t.

A pre-existing sport court sits below the main yard, so the retaining wall, steps, and drainage all have to work together—without feeling disconnected from the overall design.

This is the kind of planning most people never see, but it’s what makes the finished project work.

Where peace meets play.

The best backyards don’t ask you to choose between relaxing and having fun.

This custom sport court was designed for morning pickleball matches, evening basketball games, and everything in between—all while complementing the home’s outdoor living space.

Because the best memories aren’t made inside.

One feature completely changed how this backyard gets used.

Most people look at the pool first.

We don’t.

Our eyes go straight to this raised spa retreat.

Instead of dropping a hot tub somewhere in the corner, we designed an entirely new destination.

This backyard didn’t need a brand-new pool—it needed a better plan.

We kept the existing pool, gave it a complete remodel, replaced the outdated materials with modern travertine, widened the usable space, and tied everything together with a new covered spa area.

Sometimes the best transformation starts by reimagining what you already have.
