"Kathy is the absolute best! She went above and beyond for our two dogs while we were out of the state on vacation for New Years. She constantly kept me in the loop with daily text message check ins and photos. She was so easy to communicate with anytime I needed to reach out. We have cameras in the house and were able to watch her interact with our pets daily and she not only took care of feeding them twice a day and walking them, but gave them so much love and even played fetch with our tiny puppy. The dogs were genuinely excited to see her throughout the day and she made them both feel so loved. When our flight was cancelled unexpectedly, she stepped right back in and took care of the dogs beyond our original contracted time while we focused on figuring out how to get back home. Despite the craziness of that travel day - Kathy made it so much easier because we knew our four legged family members were being well cared for." Julie H.

Thanksgiving is almost here, and we know how tempting it can be to share a little bit of your big holiday meal with your pets. 🩵 But not all the foods we enjoy are safe for them.

Some of our favorite Thanksgiving staples can make animals very sick so please help keep your furry family members safe by sticking to pet approved treats only. 🥕

What sweet Stacee pictured here would really love for the holiday is a home of her very own. 🙏 She does not need leftovers she just wants a cozy bed some love and maybe a bone or two. ❤️‍🩹 Stacee is three years old, and she would be so thankful to spend the season with a family who cares about her.

The shelter will be closed on Thursday November 27 for Thanksgiving and will reopen Friday at 11 am for our Black Furrday event! 🖤

S'more is wishing everyone a Happy Fourth of July!! And reminding everyone to take extra care of their animals today. So many pets run away because they get so scared due to the noise. Make sure your pets are wearing a collar, leave a tv or music on if you have to leave, keep lights on, medicate if needed, check locks on gates, don't leave your pets outside especially today. 🥰
