This door closer install could get someone sued.

Take a look at this. Came across on a locksmith forum this morning. The arm is angled wrong, the bracket is jury-rigged with a spacer block spare pieces of brackets. A door closer this far out of spec won't close properly, won't latch, and won't meet ADA or fire code. If that door is on a commercial building and someone gets hurt, the property owner is exposed.

This is the ignition key for a mobility scooter.

It came in with no key, and we made one from scratch right at the shop.

People are surprised by how often we do this. Mobility scooters, eBike keys, golf carts, utility carts, even the tote box on the back of your truck. If there's a lock on it and no key to match, we can almost always make one.

The tools behind programming Chevy car keys.

This is what it actually takes to add a new fob to a 2023 Chevy Malibu. The laptop on the right is our programming tablet. The white module up top is the OBD interface that plugs into the car. We use them together to read the vehicle's computer, write the new remote into the system, and get it recognized by the car so it'll start and lock and unlock the doors.

It's not a "press a button and you're done" job. Every modern car key has to be matched to the immobilizer, and that takes the right equipment and the right software subscription.

Best keypad made. Worst install we've seen.

That's a genuine Trilogy Alarm Lock, one of the top commercial keyless entries you can buy, and it's expensive.

But anyone can reach through the bars and open that gate! Even more, the back of the electronics is fully exposed to weather voiding the warranty and guaranteed to end the life of this lock straight away.

Don't pay for premium locks, and hire the cheapest installer. A proper outdoor gate install needs a reach-through barrier, mounting plate, and weather protection.

You can always find cheaper. Here's what it looks like.

The first photo is what you get from the lowest bidder: extra holes drilled through the steel, rust bleeding down the face, and a lock that can be easily attacked.

The second photo is what you should have had done in the first place. Clean cover plate installed to improve structural integrity.

This is an electrical key switch. The customer had no working key, no original to copy, nothing.

We used a technique called impressioning, an advanced key making technique where we work the lock directly to figure out the exact cuts needed to make a working key.

The Auto Dealer Isn't Your Only Option

Your auto dealer isn't the only option for a car key, and in most cases, we're faster and cheaper.

This is a Toyota Highlander laser-cut key. Most people don't realize these aren't duplicated the same way a regular key is. Laser-cut keys require a milling machine to cut the blade accurately, you won't find this at a hardware store or a big-box kiosk.

We cut them in-house and program them on the spot.
