What a project completed in Shaler! This deck was 33’x23’ at its widest and deepest points, wrapping around the house in an L shape. It features Trex Company Pebble Gray decking with a border board. White Versatex Building Products PVC fascia, RDI handrails, and post cap/stair riser deck lighting. We also installed a 24x12 roof with 6 can lights, fan, black Beadboard ceiling and PVC post wraps. Jacked the 2nd floor of this house house up, replaced rotted sill plate and rim joist, built a shoring wall inside to support the roof, removed the entire front exterior wall due to rot and then rebuilt it safe and sound. We then framed a new front porch roof witb lots of character. What a cool space for this family to enjoy their private front yard!

Our scope of work did not include interior finishing besides a tongue n’ groove beadboard ceiling. The homeowner is going to finish this one up 💪🏼. Framed post and pier style on a triple 12” LVL, 2x6 framing for r-19 R-value, 10” rafters for baffles and r-30 insulation, smart vent on the roof, zip sheeting, 7 windows, and a slider for plenty of light!
