How did you know you were going to be a gardener when you grew up? 🌿 Turns out, the signs were always there. From childhood camping trips and exploring the great outdoors to growing up in a life surrounded by plants, nature has always felt like home. 🌱🤎

Some things are just rooted in you from the beginning.

I DIDN’T GROW ALL THIS EGGPLANT JUST TO FEED THE MEALY BUGS. 😭🍆✂️

Y’all… I officially THROW IN THE TOWEL! 🫠 These mealy bugs have taken over my eggplant plants, and I’m done fighting this battle. What started as a thriving vegetable garden has turned into a full-blown pest infestation, and sometimes you have to know when to LET IT GO. 😩🌱

🐛 What actually worked for you to get rid of mealy bugs?
✂️ Would you have chopped everything down, or would you have kept fighting?

Be honest in the comments because I KNOW I’m not the only gardener who has been pushed to the edge by these pests! 😂😭

Save this post if you’re dealing with garden pests, and send it to a gardener who understands the struggle! 🌱❤️

💧Comment RAIN 💧to grab my free rain barrel setup guide with all of the supplies you will need linked in the guide😀

It’s 90° in Central Texas and I haven’t touched the hose in days. Last week’s storm filled my rain barrels to the brim, and now that free water is keeping my new fall seedlings alive.

That’s the whole point of a rain barrel — the sky pays, you grab the rewards after💙

🍅 Your tomato plants don’t have to become a tangled jungle!

In this video, I’m showing you how I properly prune and tie up tomato plants so they stay supported, easier to manage, and have better airflow.

A couple of things I’m using:
🌱 Velcro tie strips — easy to adjust as the plants grow
♻️ Composter — for putting those tomato prunings and garden scraps to good use

I’ve linked the products if you want to check them out😀
