Adam and Bob discuss all the times they’ve gotten hurt on the job. Roofing isn’t for the faint of heart! Stories like this make us appreciate our team even more-for their sacrifice & knowledge of the industry & all the things that go with roofing. It’s not an easy job. We should have National Roofer Day to celebrate all these guys and their sacrifices they’ve made over the years!

The rain we got last week may have slowed us down on our re-roof installs, but we are so thankful for the rain here in Central Texas!

Zach was in south Austin ready to get this roof done, but got hit with some rain storms. The crew got the roof done still in 1 day and all is great! Our client is over the moon about their new roof and thankful they are now covered through any storm that comes through TX in the future!

Like nails on the chalkboard, this roof makes us cringe 😬

There’s rust everywhere-including rusty exposed nailheads which indicates water intrusion & possible future issues. We’ve also got missing shingles, chimney leaks, rotten decking, and active leaks for this old roof in Granite Shoals, TX!

Thankfully these owners called APEX & we’ll be taking care of them so their roof can withstand any Texas weather ahead!

Yeah…caulking ain’t gonna fix these holes caused by a satellite falling off a roof in Liberty Hill 😵

Thankfully the satellite didn’t fall to the ground and hurt someone 😟

Did you know? Installing a satellite on your roof can void your shingle warranty?! Before you go placing anything connected to your roof (like a satellite…) contact us to come look first. We probably have a better solution!

Roofer Dad is all fired up over these plastic pipes coming out of this roof in Sun City/Georgetown TX. This is the original roof & the cheap material used is deteriorating under the hot 🥵 TX sun! We use metal piping when we do our roofs and that’s for a reason! Because this happens way too often. Even after a few years they start to crack and deteriorate from the weather.

If you’re getting leaks after heavy rain-let’s get on your roof to check these spots out. Maybe it’s from a pipe or rusty nail!

And here’s another video of roofers using the wrong vent for dryers… this 750 vent should never be used for a dryer vent. This is probably our biggest pet peeve… why? Because it is straight up a fire hazard. Also, we are pretty sure it works wonders on your dryer (sarcasm).

If you’re wondering why your dryer keeps going out or if you have a story to share with us about it being a fire hazard-comment below!

Not sure if this is “just a Texas thing” or what, but this happens sooooo often around our parts… we don’t understand it!

8 leaks inside this home…curious where they are coming in from? Follow Zach as he does his thorough inspection of this roof in Austin, TX.

How can you tell if there’s rotten wood under the shingles? This is why we walk our roofs-when we can! If it feels squishy (best word to use 😂) it usually indicates water has gotten under the shingles and to the wood underneath & has been rotting away the wood.

Rusty nails most certainly mean there’s a leak happening on your roof that you may not even know about! It might not be 💯 leaking right this minute…but it WILL be leaking soon!

If you haven’t had anyone on your roof for a couple years, it’s probably time to call us to do your free inspection before the weather changes again!
