And just like that… we’re finished. The roof replacement at the Children’s Home is complete, and we’re proud of how this one came together.

This project was a major roof replacement, finished with Atlas: Majestic Shake shingles, and it was an honor for Pegasus Roofing & Construction to be trusted with work that helps protect a place serving such an important mission.

The Children’s Home does incredible work supporting kids and families, and projects like this remind us that construction is about more than materials — it’s about helping protect the places where meaningful work happens every day.

Progress Update — Old Roof Coming Off, New Roof Going On

Work is officially underway on the 35,000 sq. ft. roof replacement for the Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes.

The old roofing system is being torn off, and the new roof is starting to take shape. Projects like this take planning, coordination, and a crew committed to doing the job right from start to finish.

We’re grateful to be trusted with this project for an organization that serves such an important mission in our community. Their work makes a difference in the lives of children and families, and we’re proud to help protect the building where that work continues every day.

Project Spotlight — Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes

Materials have been delivered and placed around the building as we get started on a major roofing project for the Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes.

This is a 35,000 sq. ft. roof for an organization doing incredibly meaningful work for children and families. Their residential program supports youth ages 12–17, many of whom have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, or family trauma, while providing care designed to help meet physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

We’re honored that Pegasus Roofing & Construction was selected to replace this roof and play a small part in supporting a place with such an important mission.

Wind and rain are on the way, and now is the time to get your roof checked before a small issue becomes a bigger problem.

We are already seeing shingles lifting and zippering like this. When wind catches shingles that are already loose, it can rip them back and expose your home to rain intrusion fast.
