Update: Crews are out checking lines and trying to find the problem(s) and fix them. Thank you for your patience as I know this is frustrating. If you're concerned about appliances, etc. then unplug them. Thanks!

Well, that didn't last long. We've been trying to get update on multiple power blinks, hadn't head back on that. Recent power outage had been reported, waiting on information back on what latest problem is. Please continue to conserve water and as soon as I have new information I will post it. Thanks!

Everyone should have power back now. Let's hope it holds! If for some reason you don't have power--you need to contact Geary Police Department to report it so they can contact the correct personnel. Thanks!

Update: OG&E drove substation line and found blown fuses. They are going to replace fuses and try to reset substation breaker. Hopefully, this will fix the problem and our town will get power soon. Fingers crossed!

Latest update: Substation at Roman Nose that feeds our town is dead. OG&E has crew and tech people headed that way to figure out problem and fix. If you're not aware, OG&E has numerous power outages at this time. Please continue to be patient and conserve water as well. Will update you when we have more information. Thanks!

Power is out town-wide. My guess is due to those nasty north winds. People have been notified, waiting on answer to what and where the problem is at. Our crew is trying to get answers. Please be patient as I will update when I know more. Please conserve water as well. Thanks!
