I’ve had a few messages lately asking about placing orders, and I just wanted to pop on here and share a quick update 🤍

I am currently taking a short break from baking as we prepare to welcome our newest little blessing into the family. This season is all about slowing down, soaking in these last moments as a family of three, and getting ready for baby girl’s arrival.

While I won’t be taking sourdough orders again until August, you can still support our little homestead and shop some of our favorites 🤍

Our shelf-stable items (like pancake mix, elderberry syrup kits, whipped tallow skincare and other homemade goods) are available at The Velvet Grind in Mabank ☕️

Some days I’m baking bread… and growing a baby… while chasing a toddler.

The life of a baker isn’t for the faint of heart.

It’s long hours and late nights… being the last one awake while the house is quiet, waiting on dough to rise and timers to go off. It’s early mornings before the sun comes up—flour on the counter, hot tea in hand, starting it all over again.

And most of the time… it’s doing it solo while my man is working out of town to provide for us. Holding down the home, the toddler, the baking, and this growing baby-all at once.

But in between all that… I’m still mom.

I’m chasing a toddler around while checking on loaves, answering little “mama” calls while mixing dough, and growing a baby at the same time. There’s no clocking out—just learning how to do both, all day long.

It’s busy. It’s exhausting. It’s a constant balance of sourdough, motherhood, and preparing for a new little life.

But it’s also beautiful.

Because this life? I built it with my own two hands. Every loaf, every late night, every early morning—it’s all part of something bigger.
Something I love.

And even on the hardest days… I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And to every single one of my customers… thank you 🤍

Thank you for supporting this season of life, this growing family, and this little homestead dream of mine. It truly means more than I can put into words.

We can’t wait to see everyone again in August🍞🧈
