Sliding doors may be a large feature on a post frame building, but the smaller details deserve a look, too!

The latches, door stops, center guide, and guide rails work together to help keep the doors in place and moving along their intended path.

Take a look at the photos to see the hardware behind the finished doors.

Before choosing a layout, think about your daily routine, furniture placement, storage, and where you’ll enter the home most often. Bedroom privacy and room for changing needs are worth considering, too.

At Yutzy Custom Structures, we’re happy to help you work through your ideas and find a floor plan that fits your needs.

Post Frame vs. Stud Frame—what’s the difference?

Post-frame construction is an excellent choice for shops, garages, equipment storage, and other buildings where large, open spaces are important.

However, if your building will include living quarters, stud-frame construction is often the better option. The evenly spaced wall cavities make it easier to install insulation, electrical wiring, plumbing, drywall, and other residential finishes.

Choosing the right construction method from the beginning can make a big difference in the comfort and functionality of your finished building.
