From washed out to ready to grow!

This project needed more than a quick cleanup. We corrected the grade, built a retaining wall around the patio, prepared and seeded/fertilized the area, and installed erosion-control matting to protect the new seed while it establishes.

We love taking problem areas and turning them into functional, clean spaces that homeowners can enjoy again.

Need grading, landscaping, retaining wall work, seeding, or property improvements?

Before & After — Professional Tree Pruning

A good tree trim shouldn’t leave you wondering where the tree went.

This tree had become dense and overgrown, with excess weight throughout the canopy and very little light pe*******on. Our goal wasn’t to butcher it or dramatically change its natural shape—it was to selectively prune it for better structure, clearance, and overall appearance.

✂️ Selective canopy thinning
🌳 Removed dead, damaged & unnecessary growth
☀️ Increased light and airflow through the canopy
🏡 Improved clearance around the home, sidewalk & surrounding property
🍃 Maintained the tree’s natural shape and character

The before and after speaks for itself. Cleaner. Lighter. Better balanced. And still very much a tree.

At Hernandez Uprooted, we believe proper pruning is about knowing what to remove—and just as importantly, what to leave.

🌿 A Garden Built From the Ground Up 🌿

We’re proud to share one of our recent projects — a custom vinyl fence and arbor garden enclosure built for our client and her students.

This project was about more than just installing a fence. We transformed the space from the ground up and created a beautiful, functional garden area designed to be enjoyed and cultivated for seasons to come.

Here’s what we accomplished:

🔹 Leveled and prepared the area
🔹 Carefully measured and laid out the entire enclosure
🔹 Dug and set all fence posts
🔹 Installed the new vinyl fencing and arbor
🔹 Built and installed raised garden beds
🔹 Filled the raised beds and prepared them for planting
🔹 Added fresh mulch throughout the interior garden area and left extra for once they plant their first plants
🔹 Created additional garden beds along the outside of the enclosure
🔹 Planted Clematis to bring life and color to the arbor
🔹 Added decorative touches to give the space a welcoming, finished look

From measuring and digging posts to the final decorative touches, every part of this project was built with purpose and attention to detail.

Most importantly, this garden will provide a place for her students to learn, grow, and experience the process of gardening firsthand.

There’s something special about taking an ordinary piece of ground and turning it into a space where people can grow something together.

Another project completed. Another space transformed. 💪🌿
