Martin Bros. is proud to have completed work at Habitat Residences and Workspace. This 454,000-square-foot project includes a twelve-story with 260 multi-family residential units, and a six-story with approximately 260,000-square-feet of office space.

Here are some photos of a recently completed Confidential Client project. Great work performed by our drywall team and acoustical team!

Martin Bros.’ scope of work included:

- Load-bearing metal stud framing & drywall
- Installation of 2’ x 4’ Optima Vector ceiling tiles within the office areas and conference room
- Installation of fabric wrapped acoustical wall panels, anechoic wedges, and wood Modffractal panels throughout various specialty spaces
- Furnishing & installing acoustical treatments & ceiling systems

“Safety isn’t just about preventing accidents. It’s about building trust and respect on every team.”

This year’s Construction Safety Week theme is building off “All in Together” and focusing on three key pillars: Recognize, Respond, and Respect. During this week, our field crews held safety stand-downs as a reminder that strong jobsites are built on teamwork and trust. These conversations, working alongside each other, and the time we share during these stand-downs, all help strengthen communication, build relationships, and ensure everyone looks out for one another.

Our safety manager served as a judge for this year’s CIEF Design Build Competition—an event that gives students valuable, real-world experience through hands-on construction while challenging their knowledge and skills.

In this role, our safety manager helped ensure that students not only followed established safety standards, but also developed a deeper understanding of why safe practices are essential on an active jobsite. The Construction Industry Education Foundation continues to deliver an outstanding program, providing students the opportunity to collaborate on projects from initial design through final build, all while gaining a strong foundation in construction safety and other key technical skills.

Martin Bros. recently donated a cement mixer, along with power and hand tools, to support the restoration of Apple Valley BMX Moto Park—a non-profit, all volunteer organization and community racetrack that has been around since 1978.

Facing water well challenges, the track’s owners needed an alternative way to prepare and compact the surface without relying on water. The donated mixer made it possible to use a slurry method to achieve the necessary track conditions.

We’re glad to support a space that brings together kids and adults who share a passion for riding and community.

In honor of Women in Construction Week, several women from Martin Bros. partnered with Habitat for Humanity through its Women Build Playhouse program. Our team rolled up our sleeves to cut and prime wood for playhouses that will be donated to local families. It was a rewarding way to celebrate WIC Week—working alongside and supporting incredible women in our industry while partnering with a program that empowers women of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Thank you for the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on construction experience and to celebrate Women in Construction Week in an impactful way!
