Environmental Quality Resources Stream Restoration, Wetland Creation, Reforestation Environmental Quality Resources, LLC, is a multi-disciplinary, environmental construction company.

We specialize in stream restoration, wetland mitigation, reforestation, shoreline stabilization and storm water management. EQR’s team combines scientific backgrounds, construction knowledge and respect for the environment to provide a full range of installation, monitoring and maintenance services. Our ability to deliver cost effective, high quality services has resulted in an extensive base of repeating and satisfied clients, including federal agencies, state and local government, private landowners, commercial/residential developers, homeowner associations, and private foundations. EQR’s work has been located principally in the mid-Atlantic region but has also included projects in Ohio, Georgia and Texas.

Stream restoration in sight! Our EQR team is hard at work on the Providence Point stream restoration and stormwater outfall project, designed by Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., alongside our concrete partners at Reliable Contracting Company, Inc..

While our team is constructing the restored stream channel, Reliable Contracting is handling the neighborhood’s concrete and asphalt work. It’s a great example of how different teams can work side by side to support a growing community. This restoration is taking place alongside a new senior living community, making the project an important balance between meeting housing needs and protecting the local environment.

New development and environmental stewardship don’t have to be competing priorities. With thoughtful planning, collaboration, and restoration, we can build for the community while protecting the natural resources around it. 🌱

At EQR, we believe healthy waterways are the foundation of thriving ecosystems—and sometimes, that means letting rivers run free again. Dam removal isn’t just about taking out old infrastructure. It’s about restoring natural flow, improving water quality, and giving fish and wildlife the access they’ve been missing for decades. We’ve been lucky to have the privilege of working on many dam removal and stream restoration projects that bring rivers back to life— and improve flood resilience. It takes thoughtful planning, skilled crews, and a shared commitment to the environment. We’re proud of the work our team does every day to make a lasting impact. For more than three decades, our team has worked to restore streams and wetlands, construct and maintain stormwater facilities of all kinds, stabilize shorelines,and create healthier environments for communities and wildlife alike.
