This project was for some long time friends. They called us in to take care of their living room, bathroom & carport ceilings, along with the trim & cabinet doors in the bathroom, and the lattice work around 2 sides of their carport.
All the bathroom had previously been painted with oil based paint. So to start things off, we primed all the trim & ceiling in the bathroom with ProBlock Oil Based Primer. While we were getting the bathroom primed, we were simultaneously painting the living room ceiling, which we did in Cashmere Flat. We then rolled straight into the bathroom ceiling, followed by the bathroom trim & vanity. The trim & vanity we did with Emerald Urethane Semi-Gloss. After finishing that, we cleaned the inside up, and then pressure washed the carport ceilings & lattice before calling day 1 complete.
On day 2, things were pretty straightforward. We showed up, covered everything around the lattice & ceilings, and then rolled out the ceilings while spraying the lattice, using Superpaint Exterior Satin in a color match, then cleaned up & finished day 2 early!

The ceiling and trim color was "Stepping Stone" which is a HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams color. All products courtesy of Sherwin-Williams, as usual.

This is what happens when the correct paint & primer is not used. These shelves were painted several months ago. We were called in to come correct the subpar job that was left. We pulled these shelves out as they're getting sanded and repainted, and they completely stuck together, enough to hold the weight of 2 shelves. Again, this is several months after being "completed".
This wasn't the homeowners fault as they hired a GC for an entire build out, and his subs didn't perform to expectations.
This is a perfect example for homeowners and GC's alike, as to why the cheapest bid isn't always the cheapest in the end.

This project was for another wonderful, fellow Long Hollow family of 3(soon to be 4!).
They called us after just closing on the home and not even being moved all the way in yet.
They were a little bit disappointed on closing day, after the home was presented as almost completely damage free during their walk thru, but upon move in time, they noticed numerous areas on the walls that required attention. Especially in the master suite area. So we took care of the walls in the master bed & bath. The bathroom walls were 'Farro' and the bedroom was 'Shade Grown'.
Then the husband stated he had never had a room to himself in their previous places, so the office was now his place. He wanted to go with a woodsy, nature feel, so we color drenched the entire office. Ceilings, walls, trim & doors all went 'Jasper'.
Walls in the office & bedroom were done with Cashmere in an Egshell sheen. Walls in the bathroom were done in Duration Interior Matte. Ceilings in the office were done in Promar 200 flat, and trim & doors were done with Emerald Urethane in a semi-gloss sheen. All products & colors courtesy of Sherwin-Williams as usual.

Here we have another set of brick steps that time & mother nature had gotten the best of. We took care of that however. The homeowners still had 40-50 leftover bricks, so we reused the ones we could & replaced the ones we couldn't. Once all the dust settled, we relayed the bottom 4 steps and got things back safe & secure. They'll now be able to use their front steps that they, up until now, had been prevented from doing.

This project is one that we completed for fellow members of our Long Hollow Church family and just overall wonderful people.

They had 2 rooms added into their detached garage. One for a shop area & the other for a man cave. Originally they attempted to tackle the project themselves, but after getting 1 coat on 1 ceiling and a coat rolled on the walls in the same room, and seeing how much time it took, with the lack of time they have due to work, they decided to call us in.
We gave them a bid originally that was a little more than they were looking to spend. Rather than saying 'Oh well, good luck.' we used it as an opportunity to get rid of leftover paint we had from other projects, along with using it as an opportunity to do some sprayer training, and in turn getting things within the allotted paint budget. When all the dust settled, they were overly satisfied with the final result, as were we.
We mixed a custom white in Midsouth for the ceilings. We did the shop side in 'Pewter Green' in Superpaint Semi-Gloss to help with being able to clean in the future. On the man cave side the color was 'Revere Pewter' in Cashmere Egshell. All the trim & doors went standard 'Extra White' in Emerald Urethane Semi-Gloss.

We're thankful to have such great clients, and continue to strive to always put out the best results possible.

We recently wrapped up this project for an extremely nice set of repeat clients.

We started the project by repairing the brick, front, bottom step. The steps mortar joint had cracked, and caused the bricks to break loose, causing a bow and uneveness in the step, along with busting completely around the handrail posts, on both sides. So, we cut out the old mortar joint, saved the bricks we could, then applied new mortar, along with a handful of new bricks, and just like that it's like new again.
Moving on, we repainted 6 exterior doors (3 french doors), that had faded out, and were showing signs of wear & tear. We took care of it with Latitude Exterior Acrylic in a satin sheen, in "Tricorn Black".
Next, they had some very nice, heavy duty
patio furniture they had gotten for a really, good deal, however it didn't match their other patio furniture, or color scheme of their entire home. We handled this issue with 2 coats of Superdeck 9600 Series solid color stain. We took one of the new pieces of furniture to SW and had it matched, and it came out to match perfect!
Lastly, not shown in the photos due to going back the same color, but we painted all of the interior walls in their home with Duration in a matte finish. The color was "Passive". It is a light grey.

We were contacted by this client after handling some exterior painting for their neighbors that share a driveway. The posts beams & gable accents were all rough cut cedar that was stained immediately after putting it up, before it had time to cure completely. The result was stain that had been pushed back out of the wood and was fading and flaking off. The bead board ceiling was not flaking or failing, so we didn't remove any stain from it.
The posts, accents & beams, we used an orbital sander and 60 grit to remove everything that was failing, but not sand the posts all the way down smooth, since they by design were rough cut. After sanding, we applied Superdeck Semi-Solid Oil Based Stain in a custom color to make the cedar post look close to the stained pine bead board ceiling.
Following stain, we applied a coat of Last N Last Marine Spar Varnish to give added protection & longevity for years to come.

This project was one we did for repeat clients. They asked us if there was anything we could do with their entryway that had been previously limewashed, but due to the nature of limewash & the way water runs off their entry ways, it was starting to show it's age and looking a little rough. Since it was limewash previously, we were able to take the majority of it off using a turbo nozzle on our pressure wash (reel on our page of the process). After removing the limewash, we applied 2 coats of Keim Mineral Paint. The color code is 21002. It's a very light gray, and was chosen to match the brick foundation of their home.

The great part about the mineral paint we use is that it comes with a 20 year color guarantee. This is able to be accomplished because unlike traditional paint, that adheres to the surface of the brick, mineral paint absorbs into the brick & bonds to it on a molecular level. Think of it like this, mineral paint changes the actual color of the brick, where traditional paint is just covering the brick with a new color. The only downfall is the cost is about double whag traditional paint is per gallon, however you only have to apply two coats of mineral paint, vs a coat of primer & then 2 coats of top coat, when using traditional latex paint. So overall the cost isn't terribly much more than traditional paint.

These are actually from 2 different projects.
The first, we matched the client's garage steps to their interior steps. We achieved this by using a gel stain on them, followed up by a couple coats of floor polyurethane. Then we painted the kick plates white, and in addition to those we changed their front door color from blue to black!

The 2nd, we primed & top coated the client's garage in the new Nexus development, since they don't finish the garages before they sell the homes.
