🏠 This roof is finally coming together!

This has been a big project, and it’s exciting seeing all the different pieces finally start coming together.

We’re installing ProVia metal slate roofing, along with the cedar-style siding on the gable ends, and the combination looks awesome against the existing brick.

With all the different rooflines, valleys, hips, transitions, and detailed exterior work, this definitely isn’t your average roofing project. It takes some extra time and attention to detail, but the finished product is going to be worth it.

This project has been a team effort between Richland Window & Door and KTB Metal Roofing & Exteriors, handling everything from the additions and exterior renovations to the specialty roofing and siding.

Still more to finish, but we couldn’t wait to share the progress!

Thinking about a new roof, siding, addition, or complete exterior renovation? Give us a call.

Finally getting started on this garage & porch addition! 🏠🔨

After all the planning, it’s always exciting when a project finally starts coming out of the ground.

Foundation is in, walls are going up, and we brought the crane in to help keep things moving. There’s still a long way to go, but this is going to be a big transformation once everything comes together.

We’ll keep sharing progress as we turn this one from plans into the finished product!

Thinking about an addition, garage, porch, or complete home remodel? Give Richland Window & Door a call and let’s talk about your project.

Now THIS is a kitchen transformation. 👀

Swipe through these pictures and check out where this kitchen started compared to where it ended up.

We completely changed the look and feel of this space — taking the older oak kitchen and turning it into a bright, modern kitchen while still bringing in the warmth of stained wood.

✅ New cabinetry
✅ Large custom island
✅ Granite countertops
✅ New backsplash
✅ New flooring
✅ Updated lighting
✅ New trim & finish work
✅ Updated appliance layout
✅ Complete kitchen transformation

The combination of the white upper cabinets, stained lowers, black hardware, and granite turned out awesome — and that oversized island completely changed how this kitchen can be used.

Projects like this are why we love doing full remodels. You don’t always need a new house — sometimes you just need to completely rethink the space you already have.

From a Failed Addition to a Beautiful Home Transformation!

Sometimes, a project doesn't go as planned, but that doesn't mean the story has to end there!

This homeowner had previously hired a contractor to build an addition onto her home. Unfortunately, the addition was built incorrectly, and the contractor walked away, leaving her thousands of dollars invested in a project she couldn't enjoy.

After everything she had been through, she decided to change directions. Instead of moving forward with the addition, she wanted a beautiful covered porch and deck where she could finally relax and enjoy her home.

That's where Richland Window & Door came in!

What started as a porch project turned into a complete exterior transformation!

Here's what we accomplished:

Built a brand-new covered porch and deck.
Installed new siding on the entire house.
Replaced all soffit and fascia.
Installed all-new gutters.
All new Windows
New Front door
Gave the home a completely refreshed exterior!

The combination of the black metal roofing, gray siding, black railing, and natural wood decking really brought everything together!

We're proud we had the opportunity to turn a frustrating situation into something this homeowner can finally enjoy.

At Richland Window & Door, we don't just build projects. We take pride in helping homeowners love their homes again!

Not sure how we forgot to post this one! 🔨

We completed a whole new roof and a brand-new composite deck for this customer, and the transformation turned out great!

But one of the best parts of this project came afterward — the neighbor liked this deck so much that she had us come over and do hers too! That’s actually the deck we just posted.

There’s no better compliment than having someone see our work firsthand and ask us to do the same for their home.

This deck features composite decking, matching skirting, new steps, and black aluminum railing for a clean, low-maintenance finish.

Thank you to our customers for continuing to recommend us and keeping our small crew busy!

1 customer. 2 deck transformations! 🔨

Out with the old and in with the new! We recently completed two decks for the same customer, replacing the old concrete and worn-out areas with new composite decking and railing.

For the back deck, the customer had difficulty going up and down the existing steps, so we built the new staircase specifically with that in mind. We made the treads wider and kept the rise to approximately 4 inches, making each step shorter and easier to navigate.

The front porch also received a complete makeover with composite decking, new steps, skirting, and white railing. A big improvement in both appearance and usability!

Sometimes it’s not just about making something look better — it’s about building it to work better for the homeowner.

Out with the old and in with the new! 🔨

We tore out this old, worn-out deck and gave this home a much-needed upgrade!

The new deck features fresh treated decking, a clean finished skirt around the outside, new stairs, and black aluminum railing that really gives it a sharp, updated look.

Swipe through to see the before and after — quite the transformation!

🔨 Another truss project completed!

We removed the existing roof trusses and installed an entirely new scissor truss system on this home.

Before setting the new trusses, we found that the existing walls were out of square and out of level. We corrected and straightened everything first so the new trusses could be properly set.

The truss portion of this project is now complete, and the new scissor trusses made a huge difference — especially inside with the new vaulted ceiling.

🔨 Making Progress!

Today we’re removing the old roof trusses and getting ready to install new scissor trusses.

As you can see, this isn’t always as simple as tearing off the old and putting on the new. The existing walls were out of square and out of level, so before setting any new trusses, we took the time to straighten, level, and correct the walls.

Getting the structure right first is important. Once everything is where it needs to be, we can start setting the new scissor trusses and really watch this project take shape.

More progress pictures coming soon!
